Investigated heating performance issues at a large residential property, identifying circulation faults, pump failure and overdue boiler servicing requirements.
The customer reported insufficient heating performance throughout a large residential property. After carrying out a full system inspection, it was discovered that the magnetic filter had not been cleaned for an extended period, contributing to circulation issues and eventual pump failure.
During further inspection, it was also identified that the boiler had not been serviced in over a year. A full boiler service was therefore carried out to restore safe and efficient operation.
The burner assembly was removed for inspection and maintenance, during which the burner gasket required careful removal and replacement due to deterioration over time.
Following completion of the repair and servicing work, the heating system was tested thoroughly to ensure reliable circulation, improved heating performance and correct boiler operation.
